Jamr has really taken to the surface and defied a big weight rise for his success here in November with a smooth victory on the opening day of the Carnival. But the lightly-raced MANTOBA can take this as he warmed up with a good run in a Listed contest at Lingfield and is on a fair mark. He had Lyssio around three lengths behind that day and the latter came here to run a big race behind Honour System a fortnight ago. Rochdale has gone up again for his victories at non-Carnival meetings here and this looks tougher.
