      Verdict

      Doug Watson trains half of the eight-strong field. Pat Dobbs was on board Tried And True for his two most recent runs where he hasn't been beaten far. Sam Hitchcott, who rode him to victory earlier, has the ride on Active Spirit this time and his mount finished a close second in a similar contest on this card a year ago. GALVANIZE (NAP), a dual winner for Sir Michael Stoute, made a very encouraging debut for new connections when runner-up to Grand Argentier earlier this month. That should have brought him to concert pitch and Dane O'Neill again takes the ride. He holds Ormindo on that run and Bochart has never raced beyond 7f.
