Verdict

A distinctly modest bunch of two-year-olds to say the least but BOWSON FRED will find this easier than his handicap debut in Class 3 company at York. Mick Easterby's charge rates a speculative selection dropped 5lb in the weights for this. Surrey Pink and Penalty Scorer have both struggled in handicaps so far so the likes of Westhoughton and Recover make more appeal stepping up from maiden company.
