    Verdict

Tanseeb and stablemate Lyn Valley are both related to winners and the betting may prove the best guide to their chances. They make more appeal than fellow newcomer Disclosure while Muspelheim and Withernsea are closely matched on their running at Ripon. The former came out best when finishing runner-up last time but Richard Fahey has trained the last two winners of this and it would be no surprise if the latter reverses the form as he missed the break that day. CAPTAIN MIDNIGHT made a promising debut when third at Beverley last month, five lengths clear of the rest. He gets a tentative vote to open his account in a tricky contest.
