In depth

Verdict

Go George Go notched a four-timer at Newcastle over the winter but never threatened the winner when placed at Catterick last time behind the runner-up Falcon's Fire. The latter has since been beaten at Wolverhampton and GREEN LIGHT (NAP) is preferred given he won a Class 2 handicap off today’s mark at Epsom last year and was fourth at Thirsk recently on only his second start for Brian Ellison. He gets the vote with Corton Lad and Fisherman’s Blues hard to fancy in their current form.
