In depth

Verdict

Gucci D'oro beat Golden Future by a length in a similar contest over 1m5f here last week with Frosty Berry a well-beaten fourth. But the runner-up enjoys a 6lb turnaround in the weights and must be fancied to reverse the form over this longer trip. La Bacouetteuse kept on well to score over course and distance last month but past form gives him plenty to find with STRIKEMASTER, who seems to have rediscovered his best lately. Now 4lb lower than his last winning mark, Lee James seven-year-old should take all the beating though maiden Bollin Bob could be interesting trying the trip for the first time.
