This is a race where the market should be watched as Irish raider Bowmore Rock and Rose Dobbin's Pyjama Game are possible winners, especially the latter, who is likely to have more pace than most. Thurnham ran well enough behind First Rock over the C&D in November to be on the short-list but this should go to JUKEBOX MELODY. Malcolm Jefferson usually has a good bumper or two in his yard and this one looked a very promising type at Market Rasen where his stamina came into play after racing green for most of the way. With that experience under his belt he can defy a penalty.
