VISION DE LA VIE opened his account over course and distance nine days ago when beating Proud Gamble just over two lengths with Apache Pilot a close-up fifth having made much of the running. He has plenty of scope for further improvement and is fancied to defy his penalty with veteran Solway Bay having been raised 8lb for a recent victory over track and trip, though he holds Wakhan on that run. Whiskey Chaser finished tailed off on his reappearance at Sedgefield but is better than that and Oil Burner would also have a chance at the weights.
