In depth

Verdict

Corridor Creeper makes a quick reappearance and can defy a penalty to overcome the likes of stablemate Whistler, Pic Up Stics and River Falcon to name but three. Milton Bradley has few peers when placing his sprinters, and obviously feels that Corridor Creeper will be up to the task after his battling performance at Newmarket on Thursday. The seven-year-old showed that he can handle cut in gaining his first win of the season, and if in the same mood, can continue his late season rally. Whistler was behind his stablemate at headquarters but the deficit was less than two lengths, so he is entitled to be in the shake-up along with Pic Up Stics who has been a bit in and out and who never got going behind Jonny Ebeneezer at York last Saturday. River Falcon was ahead of him on the Knavesmire and with Kieren Fallon on board, can be a danger, but he in turn would have it to do with Connect who was fourth and is fully effective over this trip. Imperial Echo possibly found the ground too heavy behind Eisteddfod at Haydock recently, but is another that is entitled to make his presence felt. A wide-open affair can go to Corridor Creeper.
