In depth

Verdict

DOWER GLEN is put forward as the pick here over Bould Mover and Silver Linnet. The selection shaped with promise in maiden company before finishing in mid-division in the Hilary Needler at Beverley. She looks a smart filly and from her middle draw she can get her head in front. Bould Mover ran well on his debut but the run may have come too soon for him when he disappointed at Folkestone three days later. He has been given a decent break since his last run and he may be capable of getting back on track here. Silver Linnet was well beaten on her debut but she put in a much better effort last time and she appears to be on an upward curve. She Knows It All and Patch Patch are the newcomers in the field and they are certainly worth a market check, but Dower Glen sets the benchmark for the others and is the one to beat.
