Ingleby Spirit made a reasonable start over timber at Carlisle and improved to finish runner-up behind the well-supported Agent Archie at Ludlow. This sharper track should be more to his liking and he looks certain to go well. MERCHANT OF DUBAI won seven races on the Flat and looked as though the experience would do him good when runner-up to Eurohunter on his debut over timber at Kelso. He's sure to have come on for the outing and can go one better. Thirty Days Out showed plenty of potential in bumpers and on her hurdling debut at Newcastle where she ran well for a long way over that 2m4f trip. Her allowance makes her a threat but Bowdler's Magic, though certain to have benefited from his run at Huntingdon, may need a longer trip.
