In depth

Verdict

Pena Dorada is consistent enough but has only won once in 20 career starts though he's still a youngster and like Vosges is receiving the age allowance. The latter, a dual hurdles winner on this course, ran very well behind Carrietau over 2m here last month and will be suited by the longer trip. MAGGIO made a very promising chasing debut over the C&D behind Ballycolin and though having little chance behind Al Ferof in a Cheltenham Grade 2 subsequently should find this more to his liking. He may be good enough to see off the attentions of Nodforms Violet, another who made a bright start over the bigger obstacles behind two decent rivals at Market Rasen.
