A tough race to get out on and we will pick Melalchrist ahead of Bo McGinty and Yungaburra. Melalchrist is probably weighted to the hilt but this known trailblazer has proved more than capable of nicking races if granted a soft lead and if he is able to do that here, he looks worth a bet at decent odds. Bo McGinty has had a couple of pipeopeners on the artifical surfaces and while winning isn't something he does regularly, he won't be far away. Yungaburra is yet to win on the turf but he races off a much lower mark than on the all-weather and he must be respected if the money is seen for him. First Order put up a fair effort at Lingfield and is a factor if keeping up that progression. Geojimali is often well backed and does tend to run his better races at this time of the season. Circuit Dancer would have claims as a course and distance scorer in the past. Tartatartufata got into listed grade on the polytrack and is potentially well in on turf if running to anything like those figures. Many chances held in a fiendish finale and we chance Melalchrist.
