In depth

Verdict

Lycidas was no match for the useful Reivers Lad at Kelso last month but still finished ahead of Paper Roses and that pair meet on the same terms today. SLANELOUGH also finished behind Reivers Lad last time and his form ties in closely. Rose Dobbin’s novice has a progressive profile and could be the one to be on today getting 7lb from Important Moment, who will have needed last month’s run at Naas, and Pot Committed, unraced since springing a 20/1 shock over 2m here in December. Picture Painter was only been placed twice on the Flat in 11 starts.
