Verdict

SENATE MAJORITY produced a good effort on his recent comeback at Ripon when third behind Mandurah, who runs earlier on today's card. He looks on a fair mark on the evidence of that run and can return to winning ways dropped in class here. Odd Ball got off to a winning start at Wolverhampton earlier this month and should give a good account on his handicap debut, while Dower Glen and Cheveyo have been placed on the all-weather of late though both have yet to win. Silvanus has the past form to figure but it's been some time since he posted a half-decent effort.
