In depth

Verdict

Tyrone House has his first start since landing a gamble at Sedgefield in November but has more scope than stablemate Persian Prince and shouldn't be ignored. County Colours is having only his second start over fences but doesn't lack badly treated if his jumping holds up, while Go Silver Bullet and Silver Steel will both strip fitter for recent runs. But, with Role On struggling for form and Or D'Oudaires likely to need this, the one to beat may be BORDER REIVER. Tim Easterby's seven-year-old finally cashed in on a tumbling handicap mark at Wetherby 11 days ago and, though raised 7lb since, still looks well treated on his best form.
