In depth

Verdict

The David Evans-trained Hazewind gets the nod in the finale, while Ballyhurry and H Harrison are expected to be tough nuts to crack from the opposition. That said, Sarraf is capable on his day and can also make a race of it if he is in the right frame of mind. H Harrison has shaped as if his turn may be coming around again and it will be noteworthy if support comes for him from the betting ring; he goes well for Royston Ffrench and has dropped to a fair mark. Ballyhurry loves this track and, with Danny Tudhope taking 3lb off with his claim, a bold bid cannot be ruled out from him. However, Hazewind also has the assistance of a very tidy claimer in the shape of Paul Mulrennan and, with his recent form looking marginally stronger, Evans' charge looks the one to be on here.
