      WELFORD is getting steadily closer and just missed out in a fight for the line when stepped up to today's trip at Leicester last time. He gets the vote ahead of Livella Fella, placed on her last couple of outings over 6f and preferred to stablemate and newcomer Hollywood Ken. Goodknight Percy showed some progress over 7f at Haydock without looking like winning while Novinophobia will find this easier than her introduction at York and could finish closer.
