Verdict

GRINGO comes from a yard in form and is difficult to oppose with both Charlie Crab and Along The Nile worth noting. The selection seems to be in better form this season having run well on both starts. He improved from his return to finish an eye catching second of fourteen behind Take The Breeze at Sandown last time out and although he has been raised five pounds for his troubles this looks an easier opportunity for him. Charlie Crab is eight pounds worse off since winning at Doncaster. That looks fairly harsh considering what he beat and he will need to be at the top of his game if he is to trouble the judge. Along The Nile has a return to jumping this winter which proved a successful move last season when winning at Newcastle. He had place form thereafter and is more than capable of being in the shake once again so is given respect. However for the winner we return to Gringo.
