Verdict

This has been won by some nice types but neither Chute Hall nor Ridestan have done enough to suggest they can join them. The remaining trio look closely matched though Cliffside Park will need to improve again after failing to find a finishing burst at Cork when strongly fancied after his Clonmel victory. Snow Falcon looked a smart prospect when landing a Navan maiden in January and he followed that with a fine run in the Neptune at Cheltenham. He's a real staying type and wasn't suited by a small field on his reappearance at Navan when odds-on and can do much better. However, DAISY'S GIFT continues to make progress despite her age and comes here in excellent form having conceded weight to her stablemate Whiteout at Gowran where she showed a fine attitude. She can follow up before going on to better things.
