Verdict

Having placed in Listed and Group 3 company as a juvenile, more would have been expected of CHICAGO GIRL this season. She's now tried in blinkers but this is a big drop in class and probably her best chance so far to grab a victory. Nidhaam, third on her reappearance at Gowran, is the one most likely to profit if the probably favourite comes up short again though Carrie Bow Cay also has some scope and Newton's Night could figure if ready after a break. Elusive Laurence has been placed in both start but against modest opposition.
