Ainslie, the only four-year-old in the line-up, had an engagement in a Grade C handicap at Down Royal yesterday and this looks an easier opportunity. His stable companion Orchard Road was sent into a clear lead at the second last at Clonmel but was fading on the run-in before just hanging on. He'll probably be ridden with more restraint this time and looks to have a fine chance. Portmore Lough won a Kilbeggan maiden last August and it would be a very good training effort to bring him here and score after such a long absence. SUMMER STORM is a consistent performer at this sort of level and though 6lb higher than his victory at Thurles, Rachel Blackmore can steer him to a third victory over timber.
