In depth

Verdict

Magic Bear made a very promising debut here in October and went one better at Dundalk a few weeks later but hasn't run subsequently. Piazzini has been hit with a massive 11lb rise for an easy victory at Tipperary though his rider's 4lb claim will ease the burden but Sweetest Taboo wasn't far behind and must have a chance of reversing the places at the revised weights. Gopsies Daughter was close behind in fifth but looked to have every chance so the vote goes to ASPEN BELLE, who was having only her sixth start when battling to victory at Cork and a mark of 49 may be underestimating her. Blue Bounty, who was just over two lengths behind in that latter event, has since won on the same track so the form looks strong in the context of this race. Enter The Red is a consistent performer who will enjoy the easier conditions more than most so has to be respected.
