Verdict

Cocktail Hour was well supported on her reappearance at Gowran but disappointed and will need to do much better. JUST PRETENDING couldn't cope with heavy ground on her debut but produced a much better effort on her reappearance at Dundalk where she stayed on very strongly in the closing stages. That will have brought her on and this should prove within her capabilities. Teochrios couldn't get anywhere near her stablemate An Saincheann at Gowran but stayed on nicely once getting the hang of things and will have benefited from the experience. Athenaire is out of a mare who has already produced seven winners and is a newcomer to keep an eye on in the market.
