Lord Alfie created a shock when scoring at around this trip at Fairyhouse but couldn't handle the rise in weights and step up in trip at Thurles. Zekarya has been running over hurdles and is much better over fences so he could go well at a fair price, though TABHACHTACH looks the one to be on. He's also been running over timber and scored at Punchestown in October. He has a point-to-point and a chase victory to his credit and looks well enough handicapped to take this. Moncherie was unlucky at Gowran last time but a strike-rate of 1-21 over fences doesn't inspire confidence, nor does his jumping. Mark Me Up landed a handicap over fences at Wexford in March and a recent run over hurdles should have put him straight for this.
