Verdict

Saratoga Baby was brought with a blistering late run to snatch the spoils from Brown Butterly over this trip at the Curragh and, though 8lb higher, Ronan Whelan's claim is a bonus. Back in third that day was DANZERINI, who is 4lb better off and less exposed than the winner so he's taken to reverse the form and land this. Conversational twice finished runner-up over this trip and was made favourite for a Gowran handicap but found 7f too short and will be happier this time. Star Links found Chester's 1m2f too far last time and is much better over this trip. He's won off this mark in the past and has to be respected under his very capable claimer. Dansili Dual was staying on strongly over 7f at Gowran and can run from the same mark.
