Verdict

Aidan O'Brien won this last year and COCKATOO ISLAND, a half-brother to a Grade 1 winner in the USA, doesn't look to have a difficult task to make a winning start as those with experience have shown little. Kidd Malibu may prove best of them as he was unfancied on his debut at the Curragh in August but made a pleasing start and looks the type to do well this year. Lustrous Light cost 310,000gns and is a son of Galileo and a half-brother to Alfred Nobel. He's definitely one to keep an eye on as is Waarif, who is related to several winners.
