Verdict

Milsean reappears after a very long absence having finished close up behind Martello Tower in the 2015 Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham. He's young enough and good enough to make his mark in staying contests this term though might just need this and Bryan Cooper prefers the owner's FIRE IN HIS EYES (NAP). He's making his handicap debut but has beaten some useful performers over the past few weeks and could have been let in lightly off 131. Jury Duty also represents Gordon Elliott and he looked on the upgrade when being edged out by Cup Final at Punchestown in April, though he was receiving lumps of weight there. Mydor is well up to winning one of these and ran a fine race in a tough handicap on the Flat at Leopardstown last month while Oscar Sam would be a threat to all if the ground turns testing, despite returning from an absence. The progressive Scoir Mear defied a 12lb rise to score at Galway and though having an extra 9lb is by no means out of this. It's a long time since Inis Meain won a race but he's dropped in the weights accordingly and it would be no surprise to see him bounce back.
