Ursa Major made a promising start at Dundalk last month and returned there to land a maiden where he stayed on strongly over that 1m3f trip. Edge Of Sanity was never likely to be a star over 7f and this should be more his trip though an entry in the 2000 Guineas at the Curragh suggests he's well regarded. Azamata showed real promise in his first campaign and made a winning return at Leopardstown when beating Dynamite Dixie in a maiden though the runner-up has been beaten twice subsequently. ATHENS is entered in everything and will enjoy the testing ground as he did when scoring over a mile at Listowel last season. He's competed at a higher level since and should be good enough to concede 4lb to these rivals.
