    Verdict

.Another head-scratcher here for punters with very little between many of the leading fancies but the principals look to be Salviati, Connect, Domirati and Cape Royal and the tentative vote goes to the last named. The selection was a fair third behind Connect last time out but he is better off with that rival at the weights here and he is taken to gain his revenge. Salviati rates the main danger has dropped to a handy mark and has conditions to suit and if this hold up performer gets a clear run he will be a danger to all. Connect is another that could go well but he will find this harder under a penalty. Of the remainder Kathology was a good third behind Johnny Ebennezer last time and that form has since been franked so he has definite place claims but for the winner we return to Cape Royal.
