    Verdict

Annambo, Tranquilizer and Star of Canterbury are three against the field in this competitive handicap and the tentative vote is given to Annambo. The selection was a fair fourth behind Right To Play last time out. This slightly shorter trip should suit and off a fair mark he looks the one to be on. Tranquilizer rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Moon Express but all his best form is over a shorter trip and he is taken on with this in mind. Star of Canterbury is another that could go well but he is not sure to stay. Of the remainder, Most Definitely has conditions to suit but consistency is not his strong point and with this in mind for the winner we return to Annambo.
