      Verdict

Unless the market speaks favourably in favour of one of the newcomers, this may be best left to those with experience and in particular Pizazz, who gets the nod over All Quiet and Cayman Calypso. The last mentioned showed promise on his Newmarket debut last month and has the assistance of Kieren Fallon. However, All Quiet is likely to pose a bigger threat to the selection. Richard Hannon's filly seemed not to stay a mile at Bath last time and may do better back over seven furlongs. Richard Hannon's Corky, a 30,000gns son of Intikhab, Roger Charlton's Second Empire filly Deuxieme and Mick Channon's daughter of Rahy Nazzwah, all make plenty of appeal on pedigree and would not need to be out of the ordinary to take a hand in the finish. The vote though goes to Pizazz, who has shown improvement with every start this term, and a reproduction of his last time out second behind Distant Connection may suffice.
