      Verdict

The Gosden yard have won two of the last four renewals of this and MUWAARY is expected to make a bold bid this year. Not seen at the track since scoring over course and distance in July, Paul Hanagan prefers the 2000 Guineas entry to Zarwaan. The latter scored at Haydock in the same month last season but Exchequer made a winning return at Lingfield only last week and carries a penalty in this. Brazos kept good company after winning his maiden at Goodwood and is handicapping for the first time while Torchlighter signed off last year with a close-up second at Doncaster and is preferred to Showpiece. Hors De Combat and Extremity will most likely be winning again this year and are worth noting for the future.
