Verdict

The last eight favourites of this have been beaten. None of the quartet with experience have shown much but all can be expected to improve for their debuts. Godolphin's True Story will come in for support but his pedigree shouts stamina as he's by Manduro out of a Darshaan mare. Showpiece and Sebs Sensei represent Richard Hannon and though Richard Hughes picks the former it's Ryan Moore's mount who has much the pacier pedigree. The dam of Speedy Approach has produced winners from her first two foals so he's one to note but PEARL SPECTRE catches the eye on breeding as the son of Street Cry cost 600,000 dollars as a yearling and is the first foal of a mare who won in the USA.
