Verdict

Next year's Derby entry Toronado will appreciate a longer trip in time but Richard Hughes still prefers him to more speedily-bred stablemate Hands Of Time. One Word More includes a 5f winner among his relatives and is worth noting but Nine Iron is another with a pedigree packed with stamina. The latter's stable companion AYAAR makes more appeal as he didn't get a clean break on his debut at Haydock but stayed on well for fourth and that experience will stand him in good stead here. Santo Prince should improve but will need to if he's to be involved in the finish.
