Verdict

FUNDAY can send punters home with a smile on their faces by overcoming the challenges of Norman The Great and Safebreaker. It's worth noting that Katie Walsh has travelled to take the ride aboard the latter but he's been climbing the weights in defeat and could find others are better treated. Norman The Great has turned over a new leaf this summer, gaining his first three turf successes of his career on his last three starts. He's only 10lbs higher which isn't too bad and he's won for this jockey. The selection is one of the least exposed in the field and looks capable of ranking a little higher. Her form was given a boost by Doggerbank on Thursday and the longer trip and this track should suit her better than the ten furlongs at Epsom did. Maslak is well handicapped and in-form so also makes the short-list but Funday could have too much up her sleeve.
