Verdict

DISTANT MEMORIES is on the upgrade and can continue his good form despite the step up in class; Kingdom Of Fife joins Stimulation and Prince Siegfried on the list of dangers. With an official rating of 109, the selection may have a bit to do on official figures however this very progressive son of Falbrav is on the improve. He probably wants a drop of rain to be at his best and looks sure to get it so a bold bid is anticipated. Dream Lodge is perhaps more effective in handicap company, Kingdom Of Fife is not the quickest and may struggle again in this grade, whilst rain would suit Kings Destiny. He's a progressive handicapper who missed a recent engagement because of quick ground. Prince Siegfried ran a cracker in the Brigadier Gerard and must rate a big danger once again as he easily holds Poet and Peligroso on that run. Also of interest is Stimulation who has won here before over six furlongs. Hughie Morrison's gelding got to within three lengths of Byword in the Prince Of Wales's Stakes at Ascot and although that run might flatter him he is a Group Two winner and therefore of significant interest. The former Ger Lyons-trained Summit Surge has a first start in the UK for Luca Cumani today and is respected on his second to Pressing in Italy, however the nomination goes to Distant Memories.
