Atlantic Sport was good value for his win over course and distance in a conditions race at the beginning of the month and Mick Channon's colt is taken to supplement that success and give weight away round, with the main dangers rated as Fateh Field and Easy Target. The last mentioned ran a promising race on his reappearance in a similar contest at York in May and Bryan Smart's colt is entitled to come on for the run so has to be respected. Cobo Bay seemed not to stay the trip of 1m2f at Epsom last time and may be of more interest dropped down in distance today. Kevin Ryan's colt is likely to ensure that there is good strong gallop and he makes more appeal than Edge of Light, who would probably want the ground to be softer than it is. Godolphin's Fateh Field disappointed in the Britannia last time but has every chance on earlier form and he cannot be discounted. Atlantic Sport really took the eye with the speed that he showed when successful here last time and, with a good pace likely, he is hard to oppose.
