Verdict

NATALIE'S JOY (NAP), backed as if defeat was not an option when sent off at 5/4 for the Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot, was never competitive but is clearly held in high regard by the Johnston team and is afforded another chance back at the 6f trip over which she proved so impressive on her Goodwood debut. Emaraaty Ana is another strong northern challenger after landing a Windsor maiden in smooth style and it's interesting to see Kevin Ryan send her straight into Listed grade. Typhoon Ten failed to get to grips with the quirks of Chester last weekend and is better than that whilst Chuck Willis scored convincingly at Ayr in an ordinary maiden, impressed in doing so and looks useful.
