In depth

Verdict

Hernandita, who has enjoyed a successful winter over hurdles, is not that big to be carrying such big weights. Red Halo, may do better now he goes handicapping, while Strictly Speaking may appreciate a return to turf, after looking less than enthusiastic on the All-Weather. Spring Pursuit has yet to win beyond 12-furlongs, so a chance is taken with Waverley Road, who was badly drawn at York, to regain the winning thread.
