      HADDAF couldn’t sustain his effort when stepped up to 6f in the Group 2 Coventry Stakes at Ascot. But he’d gone close in Listed company over today’s minimum trip earlier and should be winning this off a mark of 99. Hard Graft disappointed at York after a decent debut at Haydock and Knowing Glance may improve past him with last month’s debut on the Knavesmire under his belt. Mick Easterby runs three with Begging Bowl, a newcomer and half-brother to Bowson Fred preferred, while Northern Queen may also prove better than stablemate Skyva.
