Zhitomir, The Osteopath and Viva Volta are the three for the shortlist here, with Viva Volta taken to maintain the good run of the Tim Easterby yard. Stable companions The Osteopath and Zhitomir look set to go well, Zhitomir running second to Sawwaah in a Catterick seller on his re-appearance. The winner was beaten only two lengths in handicap company on Tuesday, but Zhitomir has not won for two years and that drought may continue. The Osteopath has two and a half lengths to find on Newcastle running with the selection, but seemed to get going too late on that occasion at Newcastle, and it would be no surprise to see the pair finish closer here. Viva Volta runs off only a two pound higher mark than when scoring at Beverley last year, and his recent fourth at Newcastle was encouraging. Viva Volta can open her account for the season.
