Verdict

RED PIKE hasn't raced since finishing runner-up to Extortionist in a Nottingham maiden in April but the winner went on to land the Windsor Castle at Ascot and the third and fourth have also scored since. A repeat of that effort should see Bryan Smart's colt get off the mark ahead of Musselburgh second Sandra's Diamond and Elsie Partridge, third at Newmarket last month. Dream And Search has also shown signs of ability but looked ready for an extra furlong at Haydock last time and a longer trip would also benefit Royal Banker. Missouri Spirit is likely to fare better in handicaps.
