        Verdict

        It’s been over a year since PENNY DREADFUL last got her head in front but she’s now back on a winning mark and went close at Chelmsford last time. Never In Doubt also posted a better effort on his latest start but that was in a maiden race. Wahaab had been threatening a return to winning ways before a below-par effort over 6f here and is closely matched with Rock Canyon on earlier form at Ayr. Captain Lars and Ambitious Icarus are others to consider and Be Royale could go well back over 6f today.
