Verdict

As long as the ground doesn't deteriorate, this looks a good opportunity for DUBAWI PHANTOM to make amends for unseating his rider at Kempton last time. His yard is firing on all cylinders and he'd earlier won a shade cosily at Uttoxeter. Zaplamation needs to settle better but kept on well to finish second at Wetherby on his latest start and has place prospects again, while Zaru was still in touch when falling at Kelso. Tim Walford does well with his converts from the Flat so Hail Tiberius could prove best of the newcomers.
