      Verdict

      Tred Softly won at Wolverhampton last month with Paddy's Rock back in fifth. He’s been well beaten since but the latter has subsequently been placed at Southwell. Life Knowledge looks no nearer winning despite sliding down the weights while Lady Turpin has been off the track since July having won over a shorter trip at Hamilton in the same month. POUR L’AMOUR has had just the four starts to date and was doing her best work at the finish when staying on well to grab third place at Wolverhampton last time. This extra distance should suit on that evidence and an apprentice’s 7lb allowance further helps her cause.
