      Verdict

TRADING ran well over 5f at Catterick at the end of last month before making all for an impressive victory over 7f on the same track a fortnight later. A 6lb penalty doesn't look enough to prevent a quick follow-up over what may prove to be his best trip. Lady Platinum Club is consistent enough but still a maiden after 15 starts while Piccoluck could be suited by another furlong. Pitkin won a couple of 5f handicaps at Wolverhampton in November and, if transferring that Polytrack form to turf, is an obvious threat as there's no reason to believe he won't be suited by this trip.
