Verdict

Danish Duke won three times last year and is 4lb higher on his first start since August. El Principe beat Caeser The Gaeser at Redcar last summer and he latter won over track and trip in November while The Armed Man has more recent winning form with a victory at Thirsk. Major Crispies has been running well in claimers and debuts for David O’Meara but EPEIUS gets the vote as this looks easier than his latest task at Thirsk and Ben Haslam’s charge scored over course and distance in March.
