Pelican Prince, Tuanku and Drawnfromthepast are the three for the shortlist here, with Drawnfromthepast given the nod. Karl Burke's Pelican Prince ran well on his debut at Newcastle, chasing home Mark Johnston's Bahama Baileys, and although that one let the form down at York last week, Pelican Prince was doing all his best work at the finish and can come on for the run. Jamie Osborne has been carrying all before him with his two-year-olds this season, and Drawnfromthepast can continue the stable's winning ways, underlined by another winner at Windsor on Monday night. Drawnfromthepast made an eye-catching debut in an Ascot maiden earlier this month, making up ground steadily in the closing stages. This looks a distinct drop in class and he looks sure to go well. Tuanku ran well on his debut at Warwick, Mick Channon's runner staying on to take fourth. That was a promising effort and he will come on for that. However, Drawnfromthepast looks potentially a class apart, and he gets a confident vote.
