Pavershooz can land his hat-trick at the expense of Solar Spirit and Cristal Clear. The selection has posted wins at Ayr and Catterick and in the process he has risen 12 pounds as a result. That said he still looks like a horse very much on the up grade and is more than capable of winning again before the handicapper gets a grip on him. Solar Spirit broke his maiden tag at Pontefract at the beginning of the season and has since run some creditable races in defeat. He was not far away when third at Newmarket recently and can once again run into a place. Cristal Clear shaped better at Ripon when an eye catching second but more improvement will be needed here if she is to trouble the judge. So for the winner we return to Pavershooz.
